This is the spirit behind Susegad 2.0, Rey&I’s latest capsule inspired by the beaches, colours and character of Goa.

Goa, in colour and pattern

For Susegad 2.0, we looked beyond the obvious postcard version of Goa. Our inspiration came from two very different, yet unmistakably Goan worlds: Portuguese tiles and the beaches of Goa.

Walk through the older neighbourhoods of Panjim or explore the heritage homes scattered across Goa and you’ll find intricate tilework everywhere — geometric patterns, faded blues, sun-washed colours and details that feel both decorative and deeply rooted in place. These Portuguese influences have become part of Goa’s visual language, adding character to walls, floors and façades.

Then there are the beaches.

Anjuna. Vagator. The rocky coastline, warm sand, deep greens, blue waters and skies that seem to change colour by the hour. There’s an effortless beauty to these places — a little wild, a little nostalgic and completely at ease.

We brought these two worlds together in the prints of Susegad 2.0. Portuguese tile-inspired patterns meet the colours and textures of Goan beaches, creating swimwear that feels at home whether you're by the pool, walking down to the beach or settling in for sundowners.

The long weekend, Goa edition

The best Goa getaways rarely need a packed itinerary.

Wake up late. Find a beach. Swim. Do absolutely nothing for a while. Grab lunch somewhere tucked away. Wander through the streets as the afternoon heat softens. Watch the sun disappear into the Arabian Sea. Then get ready for the night — because Goa has a way of making you want to stay out just a little longer.

During the festive season, that feeling is amplified. Friends come together, old traditions meet new plans, and the calendar suddenly fills up with reasons to escape.
